Why Wo-health exists

A mother's recovery deserves as much attention as the baby's arrival.

The newborn naturally becomes the focus — but the mother undergoes an equally profound transformation. That transformation deserves structured, continuous care.

Birth changes a woman physically, mentally, emotionally, and in her sense of identity — in ways nothing else quite compares to. Yet once the immediate medical phase passes, women are largely expected to adjust, recover, and rebuild on their own.

Wo-health exists to close that gap. We bring together trusted professionals and evidence-based guidance in one place, so mothers don't have to piece together their healing alone.

We help you rebuild physical strength, regulate your nervous system, and restore emotional wellbeing and confidence after birth — starting the day you leave the hospital, not six weeks later.

Built by a mother, for mothers

Tanu built the platform she needed — and couldn't find

When Tanu became a mother, the answers weren't waiting for her. She navigated low milk supply, pumping schedules, physical recovery, and the emotional shift of new identity — largely by piecing things together herself.

That experience taught her something precise: postpartum recovery is not one problem. It sits at the intersection of nutrition, movement, mental health, and breastfeeding — and every decision a mother makes daily touches all of them.

Her training in dance, yoga, and nutrition gave her the clinical lens. Her background in analytics gave her the discipline to question assumptions, demand evidence, and design care that is rooted in data rather than received wisdom. That combination shapes every care plan on Wo-health.

Wo-health is the platform Tanu wished had existed when she became a mother — one where evidence-based care, maternal specialists, and genuine compassion sit together in a single structured plan.

Common questions

What mothers ask us first

Straight answers — no medical jargon, no vague reassurance.

When should I book a consultation — before or after delivery?

Either works, but booking before discharge means your care plan is ready the day you leave the hospital. You don't have to manage the first week on your own while waiting for an appointment slot to open up.

What if I had a C-section — is this relevant to me?

Yes. Your consultation covers your specific delivery — vaginal or C-section — because recovery looks different in each case. A C-section recovery involves wound care, restricted movement, and a longer physical timeline, all of which your care plan addresses directly.

What does the care plan actually include?

Your plan covers physical recovery, feeding (breast or formula), sleep, and the red-flag signs that mean you need to act quickly. It is built around your delivery details and your body — not a generic postpartum checklist.

I'm already two or three weeks postpartum. Is it too late?

No. Wo-health is built for the fourth trimester and beyond — not just the first 48 hours after discharge. If you are still in those early weeks and without a structured plan, a consultation is still the right next step.

How is this different from asking my regular doctor?

A standard postpartum follow-up is typically a single appointment six weeks after delivery. Wo-health gives you a structured plan starting from week one — covering the specific physical and feeding questions that come up long before that six-week mark.

Is this an emergency or crisis service?

No. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your nearest hospital immediately. Wo-health is structured postpartum support — consultations that help you recover with a plan, identify warning signs early, and know exactly what to do next.

How do I get started?

Book directly through Wo-health — before discharge or immediately after. There is no referral needed and no six-week wait. Get your care plan
